No, D. Serp’s spread is all wrong, go Max HP 4 Atk/Def, or max Atk. Maxing HP increases both defenses. I would put Glare, Knock Off or Earthquake in the last slot.
Use this, it’s much better:
Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
- Extreme Speed
- Meteor Mash/Ice Punch/Crunch
Honestly, why Lucario? Not a great mon overall. Not without it’s mega. Scizor benefits more from Rain and helps a lot more, Lucario’s only use is E-Speed and it’s not great at that either.
Don’t use Lunar Cannon on Volc, why Blizzard? I would change D. Volc to a more utility set, with Sludge Wave, Dark Pulse, Taunt/Hurricane/Aura Sphere, and Roost.
Delta Dragonite is a sweeper, not setter, if you want Livewire, use Rotom-Wash.
D. Dragonite @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Wild Charge/Thunder Punch
- Waterfall/Aqua Tail
- Ice Punch/Superpower/Drain Punch
- Earthquake/Rock Slide/Knock Off/U-turn/Aqua Jet
or
D. Dragonite @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SpA, 4 Def, 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Thunder/Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump/Scald/Surf
- Ice Beam
- Knock Off/U-turn/Energy Ball
Don’t use Grassy Terrain with EQ, it halves its power. The set you have is fine, you could opt for a BU set, credit to @PeterHolmes74.
Delta Snorlax
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 188 HP / 144 Def / 176 SpD
Careful Nature
- Bulk Up
- Seed Bomb
- Earthquake / Drain Punch
- Synthesis
Really though, what does this contribute to the team?

Thanks for the input, this is my first time building so this is a valuable comment. It’s a mix of pokemons I find interesting so it’s not surprising that some of them don’t contribute as you said, i’ll work with it
As for Lucario I figured i need a fighting type to handle normal types, and due to rain being in effect it’s not as fragile to fire. i looked into your idea with scizor and I like it, i’ll give it a go
The Snorlax is there as a tank was the idea, he got thick fat as well as hopefully rain in effect which i hope will allow me to slow down the pace in more intense battles. This is just for the story btw.

How about D. Venusaur instead of Gardevor? I mean we all know that deltas are superior to regular pokemon(what do you mean that Delta Sableye is worse than the original).
But in all seriousnes, M. D. Venusaur has an amazing ability in Hubris and a good hidden ability in Regenrator if you don’t want to mega him.

he’s making a rain team not an all-rounder team

What I meant to say was M. D. Venusaur would serve almost the exact same purpose as M. Gardevoir.
Also in the context of a rain team Milotic would also be way better than Gardevoir

Thanks every i haven’t actually started the game yet. I am very grateful for all the tips you guys got, the delta venusaur seems like a good fit, the one downside is that it got nothing in terms of beauty haha

I put Scizor in instead of Lucario and changed some stuff based on your recommendation. Do you reckon Scizor should be the one to take on the role of mega or shall i keep it on Milotic to get the fairy type?

you could BD azumarril(sitrus berry) aqua jet and use a different mega

Milotic, M. D. Typhlo, or Garde, for story, prob Garde, believe it or not, M Milotic didn’t get much from Rain, but it’s def a better tank.

I went with M.D Typholosion first, but read that his movepool was very limited. Also wouldn’t he fill the same role as scizor and D.dragonite already do?

The reason I left it to gardevoir and milotic was due to their fairy typing. The benefit och milotic was her bulk build which would allow for another rain setter (now that I change dragonite to pure sweeper)
and the benefit to gardevoir is her sheer force of being a absolute slayer

You already have pivot D.serp, you dont need a secondary since you have Slack Off recovery and will almost always be clicking U-turn.
