I may as well point out that due to Insurgence running on Gen 6 mechanics, Weak Armor still boosts Speed by 1 stage, not 2.

i was gonna say venasaur does everything d yanmega can but better but then i saw their stats and was quickly proven wrong
EDIT: now that i look at it, d yanmega has a bunce of weakness inculing a 4x weakness to ice and 2x wakness to stealth rock so i guess its not as good as i thought. still really good tho

yeah, though it has barely any coveage. its got dazzling gleam, silver wind and THATS IT. Doesn’t get weather ball unfortunatley, else it would be top tier

Well, depends on it’s teammates and playstyle. Ancient Power is a niche but useful option. It’s got U-turn and Growth, and in doubles could be very threatening with Growth, Air Slash(Hurricane has reduced accuracy in Sun), Energy Ball/Solar Beam, Protect/U-turn. Sun Support and something I thought of but forgot…

Well, it’s good for momentum. Your Sun setter can pivot out, then into this thing, then when something comes in it can’t handle, or it runs out of sun, pivot out again. It could work well on a sun team as a sweeper less of a momentum sink than Venu. I really wish Ludicolo had Volt Switch, for momentum when a sweep breaker enters and cuz it’s better than HP Elec.
