Hello everyone, I’m having a problem with connecting to the servers. Indeed, I’ve been trying now a hundred times to connect to internet because I’d like to catch some pokemons in friend safaris. However, whenever I try to connect, the game shows : “Connecting to server… [Press C]”, and then, shows the message : “Script is taking too long, blablabla”. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve been looking for a solution over the week and never found anything that solved my problem.
I’m using the last version.
My internet is good.
I’m not using sprite animations, nor am I using the battle scene (every animation is disabled).
I tried restarting my mac over and over, still didn’t work.
I checked the servers, and they were working perfectly, but I still couldn’t connect.
No I’m still on an older version : Mavericks 10.9. I have never had issues with internet before nor features. And I don’t think I ever used a firewall. Right now, I’m trying to re-install the core to see one last time if it works, I’ll tell you if the problem still persist but I’m listening to your advices.
Reinstall the core and instead of transferring your file over, make a new game and play up to the point where you get a pokegear. Try connecting then. If it works, transfer your save to the second core and play
