First story team?

This is my first time playing insurgence, and I’m just trying to brainstorm a team. I don’t have natures, ev’s, held items or even moves thought out yet.

D chandelure
D gardevoir
D haxorus
D bisharp
D snorlax

Welcome to the community! Have fun playing the game, its the best Pokémon game ive played. About your team, it looks pretty good. If you want, I could provide movesets, although @PeterHolmes74 and @ezlaturbo are a lot better at that

Any help I could get would be appreciated!

Sorry for the long / late response. Here are the movesets that I recommend / use

Delta Haxorus

Ability: Water Veil

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spe

Jolly Nature

  • Swords Dance
  • Aqua Tail / Waterfall
  • Iron Head / Bullet Punch
  • Earthquake

Delta Gardevoir

Ability: Clear Body

EVs: 252 SpAtk / 4 HP / 252 Spe

Modest / Timid Nature

  • Thunderbolt
  • Ice Beam

EVs: 252 Atk / (the rest depend on preference)
Adamant Nature

  • High Jump Kick
  • Acrobatics
  • Iron Head
  • U-Turn / Roost / Drain Punch / Bulk-Up

Delta Snorlax

Ability: Thick Fat

EVs: 188 HP / 144 Def / 176 SpD

Careful Nature

  • Bulk Up
  • Seed Bomb
  • Earthquake / Drain Punch
  • Synthesis

Eevee

Ability: Protean Maxima

EVs: 252 SpAtk / 126 HP / 126 Spe {or} 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe

Timid / Modest Nature

  • Psychic

Delta Chandelure

Ability: Flash Fire

EVs: 252 / 4 HP / 252 Spe

Timid Nature

Keep in mind that these are the movesets I use, so they might not be the best.
If you want you don’t have EV train your Pokémon and have the exact natures that I provided, those are only if you playing competitively.
Also, I got the Delta Snorlax moveset from @PeterHolmes74

Bold means that it’s either a TM or is taught from a move tutor.

Welcome to the Insurgence community @Quack! I am PeterHolmes74, team building “specialist” attempting to finish the game in Hard Mode without a Pokémon Fainting. If you ever need help, just ask me!

@Firefiber733339 Modest nature? You got confused with Adamant! Modest reduce the attack while Adamant increase it. In any case, both Bulk Up and Belly Drum set are viable.

I don’t like the idea of investing Max Attack on Belly Drum because your bulk is already cut in half and requires the immediate usage of a Potion of some kind. Morever, he does not necessarily need 252+ Atk EV to OHKO most of the bulkyest Pokemon. In fact, a Snorlax with:
EVs: 228 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def / 20 SpD
Relaxed Nature
Has 65,2% Chance to OHKO 252 HP / 4 Def Cresselia after Belly Drum!

I can provide deeper team building analysis and brainstorm something that will have key answer against most of the difficult trainers. Tell me what mode you play (Easy, Normal, Hard) and I will give you advices.

Oh yeah. Thanks!!

Eevee @ Eevite
Ability: Run Away(useful in story), Anticipation(checks if your opponent has a Fighting move)
Modest Nature
252 SpA, 4 SpD, 252 Spe

  • Thunderbolt
  • Ice Beam
  • Moonblast
  • Psychic

D. Haxorus @ Choice Band
Ability: Heavy Metal(if you can get it, you may need to ask someone on the Forums), else Water Veil
Adamant Nature
100 HP, 252 Atk, 156 Spe (This was a more or less arbitrary spread that worked well on my sand team. @PeterHolmes74, mind helping out here?)

  • Aqua Jet(Get this while an Axew or Fraxure)/Bullet Punch(if you missed Aqua Jet)
  • Heavy Slam(if Heavy Metal)/Iron Head(if Water Veil)
  • Waterfall
  • Earthquake/Crunch(I used Dragon Tail, cuz I had Hazard Stack)

D. Chandelure @ Leftovers
Modest Nature
252 HP, 252 SpA, 4 SpD(If Weak Armor, run 252 SpA, 4 SpD, 252 Spe)

  • Calm Mind
  • Moonlight/Sub/Coverage
  • Moonblast
  • Flamethrower/Fire Blast

D. Bisharp @ Nothing/Flying Gem
Ability: Wind Force(Again, you may need help from the community)/Defiant
Jolly Nature
252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 Spe

  • Acrobatics
  • High Jump Kick
  • Mach Punch/Bulk Up/Uturn
  • Knock Off/Iron Head/Blaze Kick/Stone Edge/Roost
D. Gardevoir

Choice Scarf Variant
D. Gardevoir @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Lightning Rod/Clear Body
Modest/Timid Nature
252 SpA, 4 SpD, 252 Spe

  • Thunderbolt
  • Ice Beam
  • Earth Power
  • Moonblast/Grass Knot/Focus Blast/Shadow Ball/Psychic/Trick

Calm Mind Variant
D. Gardevoir @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body/Lightning Rod
Nature: Modest/Timid
252 SpA, 4 SpD, 252 Spe

  • Calm Mind
  • Thunderbolt
  • Ice Beam
  • Earth Power
D. Snorlax

Belly Drum Set
D. Snorlax @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
Adamant Nature
68 HP, 252 Atk, 188 Def (Adapted Doubles Spread)

  • Belly Drum
  • Synthesis/Drain Punch
  • Seed Bomb
  • EQ/Drain Punch

Bulk Up Variant
D. Snorlax @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat/Adaptability(the one time this is even semi viable)
Adamant Nature
My spread: 252 HP, 4 Def/Atk, 252 SpD(For max bulkiness, with +6 Atk, no investment is fine)
@PeterHolmes74 prefers the CurseLax Spread: 188 HP, 144 Def, 176 SpD

  • Bulk Up
  • Synthesis
  • Seed Bomb
  • Drain Punch/EQ/Play Rough/Knock Off/Iron Head/Zen Headbutt

You could also run Brave Nature Gyro Ball.

Very complete post. I think 252 Atk / 252 Spe is OK on Haxorus. I never really thought about D.Haxorus speed tiers in adventure, but overall, I think it is better out maximizing Speed and Attack. Since I value Speed vary mutch, I use Jolly nature but since it isn’t likely to be Hard Mode, Adamant might actually be better.

IDK, I just wanted a semi Bulky physical Wallbreaker.
