Battle glitch

I have pokemon insurgence for mac. The game works fine until the first battle(against rival), but then when I win the battle the game freezes. I have tried changing the battle settings in options and retried the battle five times and the same thing happens- it says it encountered a serious error and needs to close. I don’t know much about coding, but this is what comes up under details:

Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x10003a70 in 32-bit code (0x10003a70).

Does anyone know what to do/ how to help?

Assuming you’re on Mac, it might be something with Wine etc.

Moving the ME folder(located inside audio folder) to outside the game files or reinstalling the game or reinstalling the game by using the following links as a guide.

Running Pokemon Insurgence on macOS 10.13 if you have macOS 10.13 and later.

Thank you, it worked! I became interested in ROM hacks as a way of playing creative new pokemon games, but found out that they can’t accommodate a greater number of pokemon than originally existed in the gab games they used. What’s more, the following script for pokemon doesn’t work properly. Discovering Insurgence made on rpgmaker was excellent. Now I have a game with pokemon up to gen6 and walking pokemon, and new ideas like the cults! In short, thanks for making the game work
