I guess I should also ask if I should make the prize pokemon for the giveaway that you guys are suggesting ideas for should be fully evolved with a competitive set or low level with full EVs and IVs. Gym leaders Tournament, run a singles tournament and each participant’s pokémon all must share a type. Exceptions may or not apply for thematic teams i.e: having Cacturne or Stoutland in a Sandstorm team, Heliolisk or Toxicroak in Rain teams,etc after all, Insurgence gyms are thematic…
Pokemon Hunger Games. Choose 1 (or 2 depending on turn out) of your favorite Pokémon and enter it/them to the Hunger Games simulator. The one who remains get the shinies for the trainer. Note: if there are filler characters (more slots than number of participants) and they win, then you redo the simulation until a definitive winner arises.
Solo Nuzlocke Speedrun with a Delta Bisharp/Pawniard (idk, maybe with the Egg Maker). First one to succesfully beat the first gym leader first without making the Delta Bisharp faint first wins. Kinda simple, I know, cant really think of anything better tho.
