Why do you have to save nora?

so im close to fighting nyx but am having alot of trouble gettting to her/him/it, is it because i dont get ethers or is it because my team is bad?

My team: blastoise, manectric (can be mega), gallade (normal one can be mega), mew, rotom, Electivire / lucario.

Is this team bad or am i just stupid to not get ethers?

I highly suggest not bringing lucario, as well, you’ll see. There’s a healing thing in the middle of void gauntlet, so honestly it’s just a matter of getting to that circle.
