Me and my brother have been arguing whether Azumarill or Feraligatr are better for the storyline and the side stories. I would love some detailed information as to which is better.

The usefulness of the types would depend on the rest of the team, however I think that Feraligatr is better simply because of the stats. Feraligatr is a decent physical attacker with higher attack and defense than either of azumarill’s attack and defense stats. Also, the fact that it is able to learn swords dance from a tm makes it hit even harder.

Swampert only has 1 weakness, making it more useful than other water types in certain situations and since there is no gym that’s mainly grass, it will be useful most of the time. Swampert has a higher attack and hp but lower defense so seems to be better. This seems to be the same for the megas so yeah I would say swampert
