When do you take speed over power?

Might be a stupid question but when do I take Timid/Jolly natures over Modest/Adamant?

Most of the time, I go for Timid when the Pokémon is over 80 included and when it is using speed boosting item or moves, except in some case where the Pokémon can easy +2 Speed (Chorophyl, Agility, etc.). It also depends of the general “average speed” of the tier

For Insurance (adventure), I think an average speed tier of 90-100 seems ledgit. Use Adamant/Modest on slower Pokémon under 80 Speed like Bishard and Machamp.

for 90-100 I would still go for timid/ jolly, mainly because there are so many pokemon around that range that you get to outspeed, I normally go for adamant/modest on tanks or if the pokemon’s speed tier is around 110 or 20.

Well, at 110, you get outspeed by Timid/Jolly base 100, so I recomment sticking with + Speed until tje likes of Deoxyx-S.

true, but I wouldnt go until deoxys S sorts of speed, it also depends on the general meta game and what you get to outspeed.
