So I’ve just started the game and although it might seem dumb to plan my team at this stage, I still want to do so since I’ve heard this game does not slack on difficulty.
Anyway, I’m planning to make an offensive team around Mega Delta Charizard’s Noctem that can also set dual screens but was wondering what pokemon would be a good fit.
The only pokemon I’ve got on my mind right now are Delta Charizard and Delta Roserade.
Any recommended pokemon/movesets etc would be appreciated, thanks!
You can trade for a pupitar at selene city as long as you have a rock type and considering tyranitar armor exists uts quite useful.
(Early game you can get a mightyena /carvanna [old rod]in dark cave)
Later on you xan get spiritoom and chadelure at upper and deeper mantle.
Obviously run “the 2nd story legendary” when you get it.
After dragon ruins taen can geta shiny deino.
Delta clanperl can be obtained in the whirl islands by diving as a statoc encounter just maake sure to evolve it into huntail (will be replaced by shiny hydreigon)
And you can get inkay by freind safari!(visit halon)
Tyranitar is a bad choice for most of the game, because Noctem is a weather effect and will get overridden by Tyranitar’s Sand Stream. It only makes sense if you have the hidden ability.
Delta Roserade is probably your best option for a Shadow Dance sweeper.
What you definitely DON’T want to do is to then just fill your team with more Ghost and Dark-types. Your first priority should be a Steel type, as that both completes your Dragon-Fairy-Steel core and provides crucial protection against opposing Fairy types.
A notable effect of Darkness is that it increases the power of Surf (and only Surf) as much as Rain does, so a decent Water-type special attack would be great.
