Transferring Save files from Windows to Mac

Hi,

I sort of get the gist of how the transfer process works where the main file to look out for is Game.rxdata So on my windows pc, I found in it the actual game folder and also in the Saved Games > Pokemon Insurgence Directory.

However, this is a little confusing on the mac. So I have Wineskin installed already and I understand through the FAQ that the saved data is located at Show Package Contents > drive_c > Program Files > Pokemon Insurgence 1.2

Since I did not find it there, I tried looking in drive_c > Users > Wineskin > Saved Games where the “Saved Games” Directory did not even exist.

As a test, I tried running Insurgence with a fresh start and saved my progress to see if the .rxdata file got created. However, I still cannot locate it and I am at a bit of a loss on how to proceed.

Thanks for any feedback

EDIT: I got it to work but now the application randomly freezes and closes.

Is there an error for the crashing?

Also where did you put the save file when you got it to work, you may have put it in the wrong spot

PS thanks for a nice and detailed post asking for help

So I created the application for Insurgence but did not go into directory within it and store the save file. Instead, I went to another directory that had my saved data. Basically I had a folder for the Core Mac download and went into the directory that had the game executable and launched it with my application.

What I did to fix it was edit the contents within the launcher itself (Show Package Contents > drive_c > etc…)

I attached the error that happens mostly when I surf and get back on land (At least that’s the pattern I have noticed).

Um, why don’t you just put the save file where it’s supposed to be and try to open the app?
