Timid or Jolly nature?

that is an hard choice since he learn a lot of special moves (earth) but he have more atk when mega evolved, but since I will never use his mega maybe is better timid or hasty so I can use both spec and atk moves, can’t you teach him earthquake right?

It actually has higher Special Attack when Mega evolved due to its ability doubling its power. I unfortunately don’t have Earthquake
