What level is it? If you’ve unlocked your Secret Base and have a Heart Scale or two, I’m sure he could remember a Water move.

Edit: looked it up, the only (semi useful) Water move it gets is Muddy Water at 39. Probably should still have someone teach it Waterfall (via HM) or Aqua Tail (via Move Tutor).
