Well, his problem is that he has no air game. In certain stages, he is very good, but others isn’t great. Absolute best ground game, but horrible with no air game and no recovery.

Because he have a VERY bad disadvantage state. He is ruined by juggling and lack good defensives options. Good smash and tilts, true, but has very hard time getting through sword fighters range and projectiles. I guess its recovery is not a mystery.
Also noticed Rob as Mid tier. Bullcrap, its Top Tier.

when ur recovery is lower than most characters double jumps thats a problem
If you’re playing Mac then you have to be smart to play well because he has major disadvantages but can ruin even the person with the best recovery.

No, I mean, its not a good position, but it can manage on short distance. he auto loose when adove its opponent.
Well, it’s not that it can’t be played, if you play carefully on large ground based maps with lots of platforms, you’re good but things like battlefield and omega stages ruin him.
Air hits still stun and Jolt Haymaker can hit early
Has good horizontal recovery. Vertical is meh, but the rest is decent.
