Suggestions for the level trainer for the next beta/final game

Here are some suggestions for the level trainer in the secret base, in my opinion, are needed or not.

I feel like there should be an option of what type of training there should be when you battle him, for example:

"what level should i use?, then go for a thing i’d like to see where the trainer says: “what type of training should i use?”, for example the options would be:

Healing Wish Audino (Classic), Free Experience (where the trainer has 3 random Pokemon regardless of whatever it is or if its on the randomized mode or not with a custom 1 bp 100% or 33% recoil move, this could be changed for an actual move in the game, like “Fall Down” or some name, idk, im not good at naming :P), Priority Moves Galore (where the level trainer has a pokemon that can be easily fainted by priority moves to train the pokemon who rely on priority moves), or something like that.

This thread was not made for these actual ideas, i was just mainly suggesting different types of ways to train the level trainer.

Also, this is a great idea (in my opinion):

If one of your Pokemon reach the level criteria of like level 50 or something, the level trainer should use level 50s as well, but if they traded it or got it through hacks then it only works through badges. (not sure how this is implementable because of people with random level 100 pokemon just to get easy experience for free and be overleveled, but it’s just an idea.)

I agree. There could be other modes for pokemon like magikarp that are weak but evolve into a good pokemon, so that it isn’t as hard to kill that final audino, or other things like that. :smile:

It is an interesting idea but not necessary. The system is really good and simple as it is and I like it a lot. Adding more modes to it would make it more complicated for no reason.

To you it might seem that adding another select screen with “Which mode do you want?” would be fine, but to people who battle Audinos over and over and over and over again, an extra option is very annoying.

I was thinking that it maybe (The extra modes) could be turned on or off, or maybe even be an optional upgrade to the level trainer. Also, I do know how it is to have to grind multiple times in a row, because I usually set a level quota of 3-5 levels above the gym leader’s pokemon, and it is annoying to have option screens.

For the final version, I vote for extra mode or a different type of level trainer available to purchase from secret base upgrades ‘tablet’ . I really enjoyed the CLONE idea of level training from Zeta/ Omicron, which was the level trainer would have your exact team(levels and moveset ) , but the level trainer had minimum AI benifit to switch in/out relavant pokemon based on type weaknesses. that way you can make sure that all your weaknesses of your own GameFinal team are covered.
