okay, i have a Makuhita with Whirlwind and a Diglett with bulldoze, but i cannot use Strength on a boulder that’s in the cave just south of Suntouched City, is there a Plot requirement that is blocking usage of HM’s like a Badge Requirement (as per the normal games)?
AFAIK the Suntouched Gym’s badge only gives you access to surf, strenght should be available with no badges?
i meant by the requirement blocking Strength being used is similar to the plot/story wall of the HM’s being used outside of battle, namely Gym Badge requirements, apparently for Strength i needed Suntouched Gym’s badge to use its equivalents outside of battle.
