When i press the key to activate the speed up button, it persists to speed up even after letting go. On top of that it cycles through the other two speeds before i can finally deactivate it. Wondering if this is a bug or a part of the game?
This is intended. I personally would hate having to hold down the button, as I have turbo on almost all the time.
So there’s no way to even choose which speed I want without cycling through?
You can downgrade to 1.2.3, since that was a hold speed up instead of a toggle, but I wouldn’t recommend that. And as boreal said, it is a toggle, so you actually do get to chose your preferred speed out of the 4 options available (normal, fast, insane and ludicrous iirc?). The good thing is now you don’t have to hold it down in order to get it. Just set it to your preferred speed and enjoy :))
