Help! I’m in Sonata Tracks, in front of the guy that asks you which track you want, and I can’t move. Pressing Autosave, Quicksave, and Toggling Run all work, but none of my menu hotkeys nor my action hotkeys work. I know the game is working because the flowers are moving. What can I do?
Try reloading from a backup save.
Save file location:
PC: C:\Users(your name)\Saved Games\Pokemon Insurgence (or whatever appropriate game you’re playing).
If you are on Windows XP and cannot locate the above folder, the folder should just be the folder with your Game.exe and the rest of the files. Mac:
Right click the app, Show Package Contents, Drive_C, Users, (your name), Saved Games, Pokemon Insurgence (or whatever appropriate game you’re playing). In both cases, it is the Game.rxdata file. You should find backup files there. Rename the current Game.rxdata to something else and rename the backup save to Game.rxdata. The first number in the backup file name represents which save slot it is from and the second represents how recent the backup is.
Thanks for the response! Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find a file named “Game.rxdata” There is one named “Game.rgssad” but I don’t know if it’s that one because I don’t have an app to open it. I’m on Windows 10 by the way.
You’re not looking in the right place from the looks of it. I think you’re in the general folder with all the stuff like graphics inside. Your saves will not be there.
Oh okay never mind. I found it!
Game.rssgad is not the save file. The save files are located in another location which I described in my above post. Also, you don’t open the files, you just rename them.
I managed to do what you said, but it still won’t work. I’m still in the same place. Does this mean the save file is irretrievable?
