well they arent actually delta pokes in the new games, they are jus different evolutionary lines of the same poke’s, delta’s are modified by people. so technically it is different but kinda the same 
Z/O or Insurgence didn’t inspire the Pokemon company because our Delta Pokemon were inspired by the Pokemon TCG Delta Pokemon.
Have you ever read up how exactly Deltas Pokemon worked in the TCG? They are vastly different from how ZO and Insurgence do deltas.
Everyone I know says that Sun and Moon we’re amazing because of the alolan forms, they say it was “like nothing seen ever before” and I got angry. Alolan forms are complete rip offs of delta pokemon but much more pathetic. The designs on the alolan form pokemon look like it was inpired by a 9 year olds drawing. Don’t get me wrong I love Sun and Moon but I feel like they got pretty desperate. Desperate enough to take an idea from a fan game and make 9 year olds draw the basic designs. Alolan exeggutor, really guys? Really?
alolan pokemon aren’t based off of deltas as many people would like to imply, they’re actually based off of regional variants which are exactly what alolan forms are. Examples of regional variants
And if you think they’re that bad I’d like to see you do better.

LOL, im actually angry at all the people that thinks that insurgence’s Delta Pokemon is an original idea. Just to let you know Pokemon Insurgence was the one who ripped off Pokemon. Alolan pokemon was actually based off the Delta species of the Pokemon cards. To let you know Alolan exeggutor existed over a decade ago which is evident in the Japanese cover art for the TCG Jungle expasion booster. Nothing was ripped off of insurgence, in fact it should be the other way around.
