If you are shiny hunting for a traded Pokemon, does it appear shiny when in the screen after the trade? For example:

Yes, it would show up as its shiny coloring on that screen. Unfortunately for you, it’s much harder to get a shiny from an NPC, as there’s nothing that will improve it’s odds from the base 1/4096.
