So I just updated the game, and this happens as soon as I’m transported to the Pokemon Centre upon starting the game. Thought it might have something to do with the Mystery Gift, so I tried to start without getting the gift, but same problem. Any ideas/anyone else encountered this?
It just crashed. Try to make room by letting the game hog up more room by closing some tabs.
Never been a problem for me before, but maybe 1.2 takes up more room when running? I’ll try it.
It’s a known issue, next patch will fix it.
Fiddling with the contrast settings before going into the save (in options menu above or below mystery gift, egg generator etc) fixed it for two people till date while for one it started working randomly.
If fiddling with contrast settings didn’t fix it, wait for next patch, should fix your issue, Suze’s working on uploading it
Thanks for the update. I actually tried turning my wi-fi off, which has worked with script hanging issues in the past (not just this game), and that worked! Turned my wifi back on and it’s all good, so seems like the problem was just getting past the transfer to the Pokecentre.

I was playing Pokemon Insurgence. When I went to the battle pyramid and went up the stairs to my first pyramid battle, my game crashed. I kept on opening the game and it keeps on saying that the game script is hanging. What can I do? I don’t want to loose all my game data. plz help
Please don’t necro posts that are 2 months old, it gets annoying for people who no longer care nor need help on this topic. As for your problem, battle pyramid is bugged, which is probably why it’s crashing. I’d suggest loading up a backup save.
How do I find my backup save?
The default save file of the first save slot is Game.rxdata and backup saves are named something along the lines of Save_0_Backup_1.rxdata.
Where can I find my save file?
PC:
C:\Users(your name)\Saved Games\Pokemon Insurgence (or whatever appropriate game you’re playing)
If you are on Windows XP and cannot locate the above folder, the folder should just be the folder with your Game.exe and the rest of the files.
Mac:
Right click the app, Show Package Contents, drive_c, Program Files, Pokemon Insurgence
Mac (El Capitan&Sierra):
Right click the app, Show Package Contents, drive_c/Users/Wineskin/Saved Games/Pokemon Insurgence
In both cases, it is the Game.rxdata file.
The same problem occured with me after defeating the 8th gym leader. I restarted many times, and i just gave up. Eventually, it worked and I was so happy. Maybe try clearing tabs so the game can take up more space
