Having trouble deciding on which team to use. Both are based around a different delta starter and are relatively the same.

Team #1:

Delta Gallade - Volt Absorb - Choice Band - Moveset: Icicle Crash - Wild Charge - Swords Dance - Psycho Cut

Delta Charizard - Dark Aura - Life Orb - Moveset: Dragon Pulse - Shadow Ball - Sludge Bomb - Dark Pulse

Tyranitar - Unnerve -T-tar Armor - Moveset: Stone Edge - Crunch - Pursuit - Earthquake

Azumarill - Huge Power - Choice Band - Moveset: Superpower - Aqua Jet - Waterfall - Play Rough

Volcarona - Flame Body - Zoom Lens -
Moseset: Quiver Dance - Fire Blast - Bug Buzz - Giga Drain

Team #2

Gengar - Levitate - Zoom Lens/Black Sludge - Moveset: Focus Blast - Shadow Ball - Sludge Wave - Substitute/Taunt

Flygon - Levitate - Flygonite - Moveset: Ancient Roar - Dragon Pulse - Bug Buzz - Earth Power

Wondering which team would be stronger overall and what improvements could be made.

Both of these look like 6 random Pokemon put together. If there is any synergy here, I don’t see it.

As for criticism on the specific sets: Non-Mega Delta Charizard is just a worse Gengar.

Sand Stream on Tyranitar is necessary to reduce the damage it takes from the special attackers it traps.

Swords Dance with Choice Band on Delta Gallade makes no sense, and Psycho Cut hits nothing its STABs don’t already. Replace it with Ice Shard to give it sweeping potential, Earthquake for coverage, or Volt Switch to pivot.

Zoom Lens is a worthless item. Life Orb boosts average damage more than the 10% accuracy boost and it applies to all moves.

Delta Bisharp isn’t very good without its Mega. It’s weak to the ubiquitous Talonflame, slow without the high powered priority and defensive typing its normal counterpart has, and outclassed by Talonflame as a Flying type and Breloom as a Mach Punch user.

Black Sludge Gengar should not be run without the Will-O-Wisp set.

Mega Flygon is in Ubers, so you need to take that out because most of the team is not viable there.
