When going into the Pokedex and using the search option, the fairy type doesn’t appear in type 1 and type 2 list.
The list is this None, Normal, Fighting, Flying, Poison, Ground, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Steel, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, then Dark type. But the Fairy type isnt included.
