Does the Shroomish line even have poison heal in this game? I’ve been breeding for the past hour or so trying to get one without effect spore with no luck.
I believe the Shroomish line does have poison heal, since it follows Gen 6 mechanics.
So its just because of bad RNG that I can’t get one with poison heal? If so what are the odds of breeding a poison heal shroomish from one with effect spore?
If you’re hunting for them in the wild, it’s a 50% chance. I’m not sure about the breeding part though. I’ll research more for you and reply if I find anything.
Okay, so you have a 50 by 50 chance of getting a poison heal by default.
Just my luck… I’ll keep breeding then.
From Bulbapedia: “From Generation VI onward, a female Pokémon has an 80% (60% for Hidden Ability) to pass down its Ability slot, regardless of whether it is bred with a male Pokémon or Ditto.”
That might be influencing things. I don’t know. Also, keep in mind if you’re saving/resetting to speed things up that once you’ve accepted the egg from the day care, the nature, ability, IVs and the like are set.
I see, guess I’ll try a male breloom/shroomish.
