Original Dragon Suggestions [Spoiler Warning]

I noticed the Original Dragon being mentioned when Taen became frustrated after not knowing the name of the Original Dragon, which I’m assuming the development team of Insurgence is going to come up with later down the line.

With the potential of such a grand Pokemon, I’d like to make a few suggestions, regarding Typing, Abilities, Stats and Attacks.

Name: Perfect Kyurem (Placeholder)

Height: 12’10"

Weight: 716 lbs

Type: Dragon

Ability: Perfection: Gives STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) to Ice, Fire, and Electric attacks. Also gives resistances and weaknesses of said types, alongside ignoring the foe’s Ability when attacking.

Damage taken is calculated with the Perfection Ability in consideration.

Resistances: Fire (0.5), Electric (0.25), Grass (0.25), Ice (0.5), Flying (0.5), Bug (0.5), Steel (0.5)

Weaknesses: Fighting (2), Ground (4), Rock (4), Dragon (2)

Damaged Normally By: Normal, Water, Poison, Psychic, Ghost, Dark, Fairy

Base Stats

HP: 125 Atk: 170 (130 + 40 from Zekrom) Def: 100 (90 + 10 from Zekrom) Sp. Atk: 170 (130 + 40 from Reshiram) Sp. Def: 100 (90 + 10 from Reshiram) Speed: 115 (95 + 20 Bonus) BST: 780 (660 + 50 from Reshiram + 50 from Zekrom + 20 Bonus)

For its movepool, it would gain the movepools (Level up, TMs, and Tutors) of Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom, alongside the addition of two new Signature Moves.

Perfection Strike: Type: Dragon Category: Physical BP: 110 Accuracy: 95% PP: 5 Additional Effect: This attack is Dragon, Electric, Fire, and Ice Type all at once. This move also ignores Immunities.

Perfection Blast: Type: Dragon Category: Special BP: 110 Accuracy: 95% PP: 5 Additional Effect: This attack is Dragon, Electric, Fire, and Ice Type all at once. This move also ignores Immunities.

Type Effectiveness of Perfection Strike/Blast

Resisted By: Fire (0.5), Water (0.5), Rock (0.5), Steel (0.5)

Strong Against: Grass (4), Flying (4), Bug (2), Ground (2)

Normally Damages: Normal, Electric, Ice, Fighting, Poison, Psychic, Ghost, Dragon, Dark, Fairy

This Pokemon can only know one of these moves at a time. This Pokemon cannot know both Perfection Strike and Perfection Blast at the same time.

It’s than likely I straight up made the Original Dragon broken, so critique and additional suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks for reading. :ok_hand::eyes:

Straight up broken is an understatement, first off, perhaps the ability would only give stab to fire and electric to make it even remotely balanced. As for defenses and type, I like your single dragon type idea but giving it the resistances of ice, fire, and electric is out of the question. I’m not really one to talk stats so I can’t give my two cents there, however, I love to see thoughts, especially ones as good as this about the Original Dragon (Perfect Kyurem) keep it up!

I originally wanted the Perfection Ability to also give it the associated weaknesses of Ice, Electric, and Fire, giving it a 4 times weakness to both Ground and Rock, but I made it give only the resistances, as Mega Gothitelle’s Ability also grants only the resistances of Ghost, hence why I didn’t think it was out of the question to give it the Resistances associated with Ice, Fire, and Electric. I think it would be best to give it the associated weaknesses as well, given if it’s gaining the benefits of Electric, Fire, and Ice.

Though I could remove the aspect of Ice from the suggestions, given Kyurem is the frozen husk left from when the Original Dragon split.

I decided to include weaknesses associated with Ice, Electric, and Fire to the Perfection Ability to help balance things out more, giving it 3 new weaknesses to Fighting, Ground, and Rock, while removing its resistance to Water.

Just call it the Ultimate Tri Attack lol
