Hi, um this is my first time on this, and I’m not sure if I put the tag/category is right, also I’m now sure if I should be creating a new topic, sorry if I shouldn’t.
My question:
So I was progressing through the game normally, and I don’t really know what Fighting type I should use. My team currently is D.Gardevoir, Gardevoir (idk why), Floatzel, Eevee, and D.Muk, and a Machop for HM Karate Chop (rock smash). I’m at Utira Town rn, thanks if anyone sees this.
There are quite a few good fighting types, most of them good for specifically early game. A noteable one (and delta) is Delta Scyther, who can be gotten at the Route 3 house (via trade, they want a steel type). Delta Scyther has good bases, and ice/fighting is an excellent typing. If you are not feeling Delta Scyther, there is also Delta Bisharp way down the line (think Nasca Town ish, with the benefit of also being a Flying type). It is a long wait, but gets good fighting type priority in Mach Punch (if ya have the heart scale for it). Heracross is excellent with Guts, if you happen to come across the Game Corner on a decent day.

One thing you need to know about Insurgence is that you never need HM to do things, there is always another way around it. You have the instant Lapras example, but you can break the Rocs with any fighting move, not just rock smash and boulder can be moved with Phychic, Wirlwind and other moves instead of Strength.
You can find really good fighting types in this games. There are the previously stated Heracross, D.Scyther and D.Bisharp, but you also have Conkeldurr with a massive Drain Punch and Mac Punch, Blaziken (who can be found with its hidden ability at the friend Safari once you get 6 badges) and Lucario with an amazing Extreme Speed.
As for the rest of your team, I don’t feel like you need Gardevoir (the regular one). You already have Mega Eevee for that, I suggest you pick another fairy type such as Delta Chandelure who you can come across very soon or Togekiss with a nasty Serene Grace + Para-flinch.
