Need helping building a team

Hi there

I’ve finished the current storyline and now i’m just trying to build a somewhat solid team for the remainder of the game. I’m aiming for a team centered around Mega Ampharos. The pokemon i have available (all level 80) are: Gengar, Talonflame, D-Roserade, D-Snorlax, D-Gallade, D-Charizard, D-Liepard, Lucario, D-Bisharp, Aegislash, D-Vespiquen, Typhlosion, D-Scizor.

Others i have available that i can still train up are: Thundurus, Druddigon, D-Scraggy, D-Muk, D-Shinx, D-Noibat, D-Bergmite.

If you have any other suggestions i can always go hunt and breed.

Thanks!

I guess you are going the right path
Since you are centering your way around M-Ampharos, its typing is Electric/Dragon you can take out D-Gallade since they share the a typing which is Electric but that is still up to you. Also, you need at least a Water type in your team to cover you weakness to it, can suggest a Slowbro, Seismitoad, Starmie, Azumarill, or Vaporeon. Looking at D-Chairzard and D-Roserade if you are not going to mega the D-Charizard then it wouldn’t be as much useful and D-Roserade rely on its mega ability to buff its speed and sweep, so the 2 might be out. Talonflame and Gengar can stay, so that makes it about 4 so far. For the last 2 spots, you can use either D-Muk/D-Snorlax and D-Scizor, Tyranitar and Excadrill, or Bisharp/Weavile and Gliscor.

Thanks! I’ll be getting to work then

Agreeing with what Aboodie said, for a water type i recommend trying Carracosta, because it is a defensive tank which your team could use AND it is resistant to water and fire

Its neutral to water since it’s part rock

Hey if i decide on Gyarados as my water, would D-Muk become a must? And what would i add for ice resistance?

Nah it is not a most, you can still pretty much go with the last 2 options I mentioned. Most of them counter Ice, Bisharp “Steel” , Tyranitar “Rock” , Excadrill “Steel” , D-Scizor “Fighting”.
