Hello! So I’m playing through this game for the first time, and I’m having a problem. What do I add to my team? Currently I have just defeated Audrey and my team consists of my D. Charizard, my Feraligatr, my D. Gardevoir, and my D. Snorlax. I want to add a fire type and something else to my team. So please tell me what you think! (Also I want to swap out my Feraligatr for a D. Haxorus).

If you’re looking for Fire-types, Delta Chandelure is located in Sonata Hills (requires an Oran Berry) or you can also trade for Cyndaquil holding Typhlosionite in Sonata City (requires Druddigon in exchange). DHax is another solid choice, however, it’s also good to keep in mind that if you add a Fire-type, Hax + Fire + DGarde is three Ground weaknesses.
While you have Snorlax as a good Ground check, it might be helpful to search for something that can help you against Ground-types as well or try and minimize your weaknesses.

Imo, you should 100% swap out Feraligatr for Delta Haxorus. It has a massive 150 attack, access to Swords Dance, Earthquake, and its steel typing is really useful.
For a fire type, Charizard is pretty good because it’s immune to ground moves and is a good fire type in general. Talonflame could also work and it’s very fast. If you don’t like these, Volcarona and HA Blaziken are really good fire type Pokémon.
For your final slot, you should probably add a strong flying type like Delta Bisharp, Hawlucha, Salamence, etc to your team to take care of your ground weakness or a random dragon type Pokémon like Haxorus or Garchomp because almost all dragon type Pokémon are strong lol.

Thanks for the suggestion! But I’m stuck since now I have nothing to add to counter a ground type besides my D. Snorlax. I have a Grass type, D. Snorlax, I have an ice type that’s weak to ground, D. Gardevoir, and soon to be water type D. Haxorus that’s weak to ground.
For a fire type I’m thinking D. Chandelure or Charizard to counter fighting types(and Charizard isn’t weak to ground, but that rock weakness tho).
Now for my last team member I went with 3 options
- D. Spider Metagross
- D. Bisharp
- Some other fighting type
But yeah these are my current thoughts about the team

PLEASE WATCH OUT! Don’t let your Delta Haxorus forget Aqua Jet. With Swords Dance, his Aqua Jet does massive priority damage and has overall better Type matchup than Bullet Punch.
I think D.Bishard is a good teammate. Rotom and Poison Heal Gliscor are all other great choices for Ground immuned Pokémon.
Other notable fire type includes Mega Typhlosion (Do not use without mega) or Speed Boost Blaziken (available via friend safari after certain amount of badges).
