My launcher is broken

whenever i try to load it it says:
an error has occured Please report this as accurately as possible. The error you encountered is as followed: object reference not set to an instance of an object Void readsettings0

I’m really confused and worried i might have messed up something or im gonna lose my save file so please someone help

Don’t worry, your savefiles are stored in a different location from your other files. I’d suggest just downloading the core compared to using the launcher as it has significantly less issues.
