Is it possible to mega evolve 2 pokemons in the same match? Because I’m pretty sure i saw an NPC doing it in a fight, can’t remember which one though.
No, you may not unless it is mega rayquaza. You may also be mistaking a mega for a primal.

If the battle is a Multi-battle (i.e. one side of a double battle is composed of more than 1 trainer) then each trainer on each side is able to Mega Evolve their Pokemon.
It also may have been what tripped me up vs Persephone. She mega evolved her zoroark so it looked like Mega Gengar as I hadn’t broken the illusion.
