Missing files from the game folder?

Hello everyone. I seem to be having a problem with some files in the game, I played the game by downloading it through the launcher. For some reason whenever I start up the launcher, it tells me files are missing from the game folder. It also said that my save files will not be harmed,which holds true. Although, it makes me download the game every time it happens, and takes about 2 hours. This is annoying and would like to know how to fix this

The launcher is currently broken. Download the core instead.

If you’re on windows, yes, if you’re on mac, you need to transfer it.
