The Birth of the Golden Magikarp Warrior:
Many of those in the world of pokemon have heard the legends of the red gyarados of the Lake of Rage. The famous Team Rocket had used an evolution ray that provoked early evolution in the once magikarp, so upon evolution it kept its red color instead of a normal gyradosâs blue color. Many now accept this as its shiny form, but many questions have been asked when the recent gold magikarp was discovered.
The first gold magikarp was discovered too in the Lake of Rage, long after the red gyarados was born. The red gyarados was said to have a mate. This gyarados and his mate had an egg together, but ever since the knowing the ray could be a threat to his child, the gyarados went on a rampage. Many months later, the time had come to when the egg would soon hatch. Sadly, before this gyarados could get a chance to see his child, he was captured for the destruction to the neighboring town. The father and child were separated by one throw of an ultra ball.
Not long after his fatherâs capture, a young healthy magikarp burst from the egg. Its mother was shocked, as this magikarpâs color was different than other magikarp. Because of the genes from its father, the magikarp had scales of gold that plated the young fishâs body. This magikarp was born from the altered genes of the father, thus giving this pokemon its gold color.
Having the scales of gold, this magikarp was special, too special. Other pokemon often teased this magikarp for its gold color, and mocked it for how its father, a mighty gyarados, was captrued so easily. This gold color of the magikarp left it friendless. Determined to prove itself to the other pokemon, and to stop the bullying, this pokemon vowed to train, train harder than any other pokemon. But wanting to prove itself, it refused to evolve under any circumstances. If it was going to show those pokemon, this magikarp was to stay in its fishy form for all of his days.
The magikarp trained with any pokemon that challenged him to battle. At first, his splash attack wasnât doing much, so he found a stick to help him battle other pokemon, using it like a weapon. As soon as this pokemon learned to tackle, he kept the stick as a reminder of his splashing days. It wasnât long before this magikarp learned flail, his strongest attack. He kept training and training, and as soon as this magikarp was trained as much as he could, his golden scales shone brighter than ever before. Whenever light touched the creature, his scales reflected the light with such beauty.
This magikarp proved to be tough. But with its power, it vowed to help other newborn pokemon in the lake, protecting them from other bullying pokemon. From that egg laid in the Lake of Rage was born an outcast. What was formed, a warrior.
