Keep Delta Girafarig or trade for Delta Growlithe?

I’ve been doing a no catching challenge run right now (scrapped my legendaries-only run) and this has been the Pokemon I’ve accumulated up till now:

  • Delta Venusaur (starter)
  • Togekiss (bought as a Togepi egg)
  • Garchomp (acquired from an in-game trade as a Gible)
  • Tyranitar (acquired from an in-game trade as a Pupitar)
  • Snorlax (bought as a Munchlax egg)
  • Roserade (bought as a Budew egg)
  • Wobbuffet (bought as a Wynaut egg)
  • Zoroark (acquired from an in-game trade as a Zorua)
  • Machamp (acquired as a gift pokemon in Suntouched City)
  • Delta Girafarig (acquired from an in-game trade for a fully evolved starter with an elemental Hyper Beam)

Previously owned Pokemon:
Sudowoodo (acquired as a gift pokemon, then a Bonsly, traded to get Pupitar)
Azumarill (bought as a Marill egg, traded to get Gible)
Venusaur (acquired as a gift pokemon after giving the Old Photo to the man at Nasca Town, traded to get Delta Girafarig)

Said Delta Girafarig is only level 36 right now, and I know it gets a mega later on, but should i keep it for the long run or trade it for a Delta Growlithe when it reaches level 52?

I thought listing the pokemon I have right now might help if I keep it or trade it.

delta girafrig’s good, but not as good as delta arcanine. its defensive typing is great sure, but its weak to several common types like a 4x weakness to ground, and 2x to fire and fighting. plus it doesnt get great moves. regular mega girafrig is good cuz its ability can be used pretty well. intimidate is just not that great in a playthrough. but if you really want intimadte, d.arcanine already has it. its also got belly drum and extreme speed and that alone makes it a better choice. then ofc it gets outrage and earthquake for coverage.

TLDR: delta arcanine is better because belly drum + extreme speed
