Been trying to catch a Doublade for my team, used a nickname I found on the wiki but the only Pokémon I find are Rotom and Drifloon. Is there anything concerning rarity on Friend Safaris?
I think it’s slightly rarer but it shouldn’t be too hard to find. Don’t forget the third pokemon is not available without the 6th badge.
You can’t find any third tier pokemon in the friend safari until you get all six gym badges.

There are a number of 3rd tier pokemon in the friend safari that can be easily found in the wild, but a lot of them can’t be found in the wild and can only be be found in the safari, or are extremely rare in the wild (ex Honedge can be found in certain Hidden Grottoes in the later game)
The Friend Safari gets you hold of Hidden Ability Pokemon, which they are normally not found in the wild.
