Is the game finished?

So I recently heard about Pokemon Insurgence from the community and how good it is. I was just wondering if it is or near finished, or if i should just play zeta or omnicron until it is.

Most non-legendary pokemon are in the game, except for the Kriketot line, Glaceon (no snowy rock), Dusknoir (no reaper cloth), Delta Purrloin, and the Delta Phantump line. Thunderous is the only legendary available (except if you count Mew at the beginning of the game, but you can’t keep it). Only about half the mega stones, both from the original games and from Insurgence, are obtainable. The storyline only goes a little bit past the 6th gym. Everything should be available by the next update, but we have absolutely no idea when said update will come out.

The game isn’t finished atm, so I would go and play Z/O before the game is finished. They are amazing games.
