I had an idea for a Delta Rhyhorn line, but as I said, I have absolutely zero experience spriting. I saw that someone earlier was in my same position, so I was wondering if anyone here would be willing to try to help me by designing the sprite if I shared my idea. You don’t have to feel any sort of obligation, only do it if you would enjoy it.
Write down your ideas, and someone might take them to sprites.
Alright, I just wasn’t sure whether or not I should put them in first. I looked at the rules, and it sounded like I needed to have pre-done sprites, so I didn’t put the info in first because I wasn’t sure.
Anways, here goes. Delta Rhyhorn would have a similar layout. to his original. The skin would be slightly darker and more polished, giving the design of metal. Eyes and pupil would be yellow, with a red iris. The ridges going down the back would now be designed like a thick, circular chainsaw blade. The horn would be thinned and curved slightly, resembling a dagger. Around the base of the ridges along the spine and the large patch on the top of his head would be glowing like heated metal, and thin veins glowing like magma would be running down his legs, and from his neck to his tail.
Delta Rhydon would the same basics in body color and eyes. He would no longer have the ridges down his back, instead having molten bulges placed sporadically down his back. His tail would be layered/armored, similar to Aggron’s tail. Beneath each fold of armor, there would be the molten, glowing light. The drill on his head would now have serrated edges along the lines, and a spiked base.
Delta Rhyperior, last, but not least. Same drill design as Delta Rhydon. The stone armor on the original Rhyperior would no longer be there. His body would be a mixture of jagged, roughly hewn armor and glowing molten spots, laval leaking out and streaming down in thin streams, and growing thicker as they go down the legs, pooling at his feet in small puddles of magma. The club on his tail would spiked, more like a mace this time. The jutting edges of his arms would be thinned and smoothed out, again, like curved blades. Starts off thin, continues thin down the outer edge, gets thicker inside. Once it hits his elbow, the rough, bulging stone part of Rhyperior’s arm starts to take form in the center. As it continues to his hand, it extends, with the blade outside of it, until it almost reaches his hand, where it has completely taken form, similar to a real Rhyperior, except slightly less wide. His fingers are made of extended steel nuggets, and the cannons would have deep glowing cores, heat and light leaking out.
Their new type would by Steel/Fire. They would have the primary ability of Rough Skin, secondary ability of Flame Body, and Hidden Ability of Foundry. I was trying to base their design around a forge and weaponry.
