Im playing Pokemon Insurgence for the first time and one thing i noticed is that in the fight against Dean in Kepler City my Delta Gardevoir does less damage with a life orb ice beam against his grumpig then with its thunderbolt (w life orb) which i dont understand since both moves are special and have a power of 90 with stab so should they not do the same amount of damage?

Taen`s Grumpig has the ability Thick Fat wich reduces damage by 50% from moves of fire or ice type attacks
