How do you patch 1.1.8 to 1.2.2?

Can’t find a way to patch the game. I have 1.1.8 and I want to patch it to 1.2.2. Can anyone help?

You have to download the 1.2 core.Then patch it to 1.2.2…or else it will be missing 200new pokes,and wont get any new content.It may crash also.So I recommend downloading the 1.2 core.
