Hints to beat Orion

Anyone can give me hints to win Orion my team is :Eevee(Swift,Return,Quick Attack,Bite,Lv20) D-Snorlax(Absorb,Metronome,Vine Whip,Belly Drum,Lv 19) Cubone(Bone Club,Headbutt,Focus Energy,Leer,Lv19) and Blitze(Flame Charge,Shock Wave,Charge,Quick Attack,Lv19) any hints or pokemon to catch and use?

I recommend heading to the huge tower south of Orion’s gym. They will give you a job to find an axew. After that run around for a while and they will call you back for another job. This time they want to catch a delta-muk. It is level 30 and has sap sipper and pretty much completely walls Orion’s ivysaur. When Orion sends out his ivysaur switch in muk and just set up minimizes he can’t hit you and if he uses a grass move it will just boost your attack. I also recommend teaching muk a neutral move like return so it can hit flechinder.

So i cant win with my current team and i already teach eevee return ;-;

TMs in Insurgence can be used as many times as you need them to be used. They don’t work like ROM hacks where they disappear after one use.

Rock type Pokemon (especially those that have Sturdy) generally make this battle much, much easier both because of Fire’s weakness to Rock and the fact that many of them learn Stealth Rock naturally. Durant and Delta Grimer handle Ivysaur very easily.

You can also try and catch a Magnemite with sturdy in the nearby cave which can use thunder wave on a target you’ve been having trouble with

i’m cant beat the first pokemon who he sends out (vulpix)

catch the axew, hands down can sweep most of Orions team with Dragon Rage, Pokemon like DGrimmer/Muk or a Rock type will also be a huge help

hmm ok, another option is, Route 2, before the cave, catch a water type, totodile pref, can be cought there that should help you with the fire pokemon, and in the town where you meet Nora(Metchi?) you can trade for an Elekid, is also quite useful

but without totodile u think i have chance against orion and my cubone learned bonerang

if i remember right his Vulpix has Drought(passive Sunny Day) and Cubone… well lets just say isnt exactly bulky :slight_smile: you can try and hell with a little luck you might win, getting a totodile would just make it easier (i cought one just for this gym and boxxed it right after since i wasnt planning on using it) :slight_smile:
