You have to go back to a prior save. It’s the only way other than to start over

Either get to a previous backup ( https://p-insurgence.com/FAQ/bugs.html ) or start over from scratch.
If you already beat all five gyms reverting back to a previous save won’t put you that far back.
haha, the same thing happend to me when testing the alpha XD, yeah your only other options besides using a previous save or starting over is like someone said using the memory chamber and losing, or pray that you have an escape rope in your bag. or having a pokemon with teleport or dig, but now that i think about it, i guess you could have someone trade you a pokemon with dig or teleport just so you can get out of the rock.

Dig or teleport should work. I can give you a dig Pokémon if you want (I’m not sure if I have time to trade today).
Both Escape Rope and Dig works, but not Teleport (for some reason).

This is because some parts of caves aren’t designated as caves for some reason. I’m pretty sure teleport will work no matter what tho
