Just before I entered the Crystal Caves, I decided that I would need plenty of Ultra Balls for Mew. I did one race with Devon Corp and got lucky and got a Master Ball. Should I save it or get a legendary for the team such as Thundurus.
Imo, there are a lot of other legends that are harder to catch and more useful than thundurus. Iirc you do get a guaranteed 2 masterballs in the game, but since there’s a lotta legends available postgame, I would suggest picking your favorite 3 legends to use the masterballs on.

I suggest you keep one for Arceus, since you can’t heal before fighting him and your team is weakened by Reukra.

^^^ this + his majesty Arceus son of a b■■■■ has Perish Song. I also ended up using one for δDrifloon because he kept exploding to my face on turn one.
Arceus no longer has Perish Song as of 1.2.5+, but it’s still recommended to use a Master Ball on it due to the fight preceding the battle.
Oh didn’t know that, cool (although I feel like I wasted my Master Ball >_>)
