I’m pretty partial to Empoleon with Aqua Jet, but that’s just me.

just use audino trainer to cheese it, if you want to be lame but if not use delta charizard

There is D. Haxorus which is good. Water/Steel is a good type with only 3 weaknesses.

Squirtle, Tentacruel, Slowpoke(Friend Safari: magus), Kingdra, Starmie, Gyarados, Lord Helix, Kabuto, Carracosta, Feraligatr, Lanturn, Azumarill, Quagsire, Qwilfish, Swampert, Pelipper, Sharpedo, Wailord, Whiscash, Crawdaunt, Milotic, Walrein, Clamperl, Empoleon, Samurott, Seismitoad, Jellicent, Alolamola, Greninja, Dragalge(not technically a water type), Delta Ludicolo, and Delta Haxorus. I didn’t list every water type, just the ones I thought viable for runs. The best ones in my opinion are italicized, if you want more info, look at Pokemon Locations on the wiki.

Delta Haxorus is BRUTAL. A Sowrds Dance + Aqua Jet set can mold through many teams during the game, mainly Nyx who doesn’t have any switch-in and cannot awser other than whit her Mega Kangaskan. He also wreak havoc at the E4.
