I updated my Mac to el Capitan and the game runs fine. But my save file isn’t there!
Luckily, however, the files are in the game files. When I open them, a pop up saying I don’t have the right Windows program to open them. ???
Also my game freezes and refuses to force quit. Can anyone help???
To make it any clearer, I have found the Game.rxdata file, but when I clicked to run it, I got a window stating “There is no Windows program configured to open this type of file”
If I re-click it, it freezes the program…
What do I do???
You’re not supposed to open them. This is a file made by the RPG Maker and basically where all your data is stored and can only be “opened” by the RPGmaker application or “run” by Insurgence itself. So in other words, don’t worry, you don’t need to open it.
Ok thanks. But when I do load the updated game, the save file doesn’t appear…
What file is it in?
In
drive_c -> program files -> Pokemon Insurgence 1.1
Game.rxdata is in that folder
Then it should be working. 
Perhaps reinstall it?
That would be the most reasonable. But wait a bit until you download it because Deuk is making a Hot Patch for mac in a bit.
