Generate Egg?

HI, So I am new to the game and I already love how dark it is!

But my main question is how do we use the Generate Egg that is just under the mystery gift option on the main menu before starting the game. I understand the mechanics, but don’t know how it comes into play during my game. Anyone know?

It is used for making custom eggs only for an Egglocke challenge. It is not used in the regular game.
