The game runs too fast; just started and the character zooms around like Sonic and Mew is rapidly bobbing up and down. Likely an issue with my set-up? Currently playing portable version.

I’ve encountered another issue. When I try to run the game through Steam, it runs terribly slowly. Do you know what might be causing the issue?
it’s not intended to be run through steam and i’ve never bothered trying, your best bet is to run the .exe directly
