First Competitive Team Attempt

Hi folks,

I’ve never done any competitive battling, but I threw together the following team based on some reading I did on Smogon, some Pokemon I like, and absolutely no strategy or clue. :wink: I’m curious what people would suggest I change, because I’ve been toying around with things and I don’t quite have it nailed down yet. I did a few simulator fights with an earlier version, and I mostly lost. :stuck_out_tongue:

Crawdaunt (F) @ Life Orb Ability: Adaptability EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Adamant nature

Gliscor (F) @ Toxic Orb Ability: Poison Heal EVs: 244 HP / 8 Def / 200 SDef / 56 Spe Careful nature

Sableye needs prankster, as it profits from it the turn you mega evolve. The rest is alright.

For Delta Gallade, replace psycho cut with volt tackle or another electric move.

For Clefable, change the 84 speed ev’s to spdef, and use calm nature.

For Sableye, I would change the set to a utility set instead of a calm mind set since you already have calm mind clefable. Use this spread: 252 hp/112def/144spdef with a careful nature. Moveset: Knock off/will-o-wisp/foul play/recover

For Gliscor, I would use swords dance instead of toxic.

Your team overall is weak to Talonflame, M-Delta Charizard, and fire types in general.

Ice Shard would probably be beneficial on D Gallade too
