EV Training Timeline

So, I’ve just made it to Route 4 (where I plan on SRing Delta Ralts) and I was curious as to how early I should begin EV training my Pokemon and what the best way to do that should be. Part of me just wants to keep using my Delta Charizard (It’s overleveled for the time being, hopefully that won’t be the case once I add more team members) until I reach Helios and can begin using the EV training items but another part of me really wants to get this D. Ralts (eventual D. Gallade) up and EV trained as soon as I get a Jolly male (unless another nature would be better?) so I will only need the EV Resetter on D. Charizard.

I don’t think you need to start EV training yet. It’s much easier to do that once you are able to buy items to help you with it, such as Power Anklet, etc.

The best way to EV train is to find someone’s friend safari that happens to have mons that give the same EVs. If you Google Insurgence Friend Safari EV training you should be able to find lists of people’s safaris to go to.

later when i get home i will post the pokemon I listed of what EV and how many EV can you get in one pokemon.Pokemon in my list is the one that you may encounter from telnor town to helios city. That might help you

I don’t think you should bother - I’m saying this solely to save you the effort and I recognize your generosity.

By the time you’re able to buy the EV-increasing items, you’re able to connect to other player’s secret bases, and that’s a much better way to EV train because there are people whose bases will always produce Pokemon that give a certain type of EV. That way you can mindlessly KO Pokemon without having to worry about whether to run or fight each time, which you’d have to do in the wild.
