Didn't receive Poke Flute after Museum event

Hi guys,

I just started playing the game 2 days ago and have been really enjoying it. However I am now stuck at Miara town since I don’t have the Poke Flute to wake up the Snorlax. I’ve read that the flute is given after completing the event in the Museum but I still couldn’t find in my bag. I even went back and talk to every NPC in the building but still nothing. Is there anything I can do to solve this because I really really don’t want to lose my progress.
