I think this is a really cool idea, and I think I prefer the milotic with the extra fins. Perhaps add the blood on the teeth from the Kraken? I also notice you seem to have copy pasted the fins from the Kraken sprite (correct me if I’m wrong). Maybe add your own touch to the fins, make each set different. I like the attention detail in that the color of the scales on the milotic matches the color of the scales on the kraken, I’d like to see more of it though.

Nice! With some work it can look really great. I’m not a fan of the color scheme though, it looks a little bit weird to me.
well, the color scheme is actually the same color as the kraken from earthbound
