So i am currently breeding Delta Lopunny and i want to ask if someone know a good build for Delta Lopunny.
Sort of depends on what you’re trying too do. D-Lopunny has a few interesting things I think that it can do.
First you can build for a physical attacker mega lopuny set. Run full EV invesetment in speed and attack with physical fighting and psychic STABs of your choice and you’re pretty good. It also has access to U-turn which is quite good for maintaining momentum on switches if you’re concerned abou that kind of thing. Sice M.D. lopunny has infiltrator it’s good against screens which is nice also.
For the M.D.lopunny pysical set I’d reccomend a moveset with high jump kick/jump kick (depending on your tolerance for risk) and zen headbutt in the first two slots. The next two are sort of personal preference. Thunder or ice punch can be used for coverage, especially since d.lopunny doens’t like tangling with flying types otherwise. Mach punch/sucker punch are good priority moves if you’re in the market. One or both could be used depending on what kinds of pokemon you anticipate having to deal with. Iron head/poison jab are good picks if you’re concerned about fairies. And lastly U-turn is good in matches where you will be playing with the set battle style, since it allows you to maintain momentum on switches.
For a non-mega physcial set the same reccomendations as above apply, with an addition. Since lopunny has unburden as it’s ability, you can use gems to gain a power boost to a move and up it’s speed in one go. A particilarly cute trick would be to run a flying gem alongsize acrobatics for a triple whammy the first time you use acrobatics. That might be more of a cute trick rather than a viable set though.
Third idea: baton pass/support. D.lopunny gets wish, baton pass, and some nice stat boosting moves like calm mind, nasty plot, bulk up and agility. Running an EV spread with speed and HP investment or HP and def or sp.defense investment could let d.lopunny pass some powerful boosts or heals to other team members. Access to lovely kiss also lends itself to this kind of lopunny. Heal bell is also a consideration on a support oriented d.lopunny set, especially if you decide to forgo a baton pass varient.
Finally, access to nasty plot and calm mind means that there is maybe something to be said for running lopunny as a special attacker, in either it’s base or mega form. I think this seems like one of the least optimal sets you could run, but I could be wrong. The idea would be to go all in on speed and sp. attack, boost with nasty plot/calm mind and try to sweep with powerful special moves. For this set I would run either psychic or psyshock, along with nasty plot or calm mind, shadow ball and focus blast.
